Education/Formation

As time goes by, you're going to hear us use the word Formation instead of Education. The reason? Because "education" implies a teacher imparting knowledge to a student, which in itself implies that knowledge only going one way.

Formation, on the other hand, implies growth without defining a direction. It can be self-growth or mutual growth between or among two or more people.

You're cordially invited to join us as we re-form views on education. We'll be providing information about all kinds programs that may allow you to transform yourself. Here are some of the programs you might find interesting:

Conversations by the Water is an informal setting for talking about this Episcopalian business--who we are, the stuff and such of how we worship, where we came from--for someone new to it all and for anyone who would just like to learn a little more.

The first question to the group is "What do you want to know?" The only rule is there are no stupid questions.
